Local news from the Malheur Enterprise

Good morning…..

The news team at the Enterprise continues to gather information about the murder of an Ontario woman earlier this week. We invite anyone with memories of Daniela Perez, 24, an Ontario High School alum, to share them with reporter Pat Caldwell by email: [email protected].

As a service to the community, the Enterprise has been making its key reporting open to all with no subscription necessary. Our goal is to get verified information out to you as soon as possible but with care to ensure accuracy.

Meantime, the Enterprise is also tracking developments around Origins Faith Community and its collapsing homeless outreach efforts.

And we have an investigative report on the Treasure Valley Reload Center, this time over questions about whether three miles of track built at a cost of millions will pass muster with Union Pacific Railroad.
