PHOTOS: Free concert in Ontario draws crowd

ONTARIO — Ontario locals may have had a hard day’s work, but they certainly didn’t have a hard day’s night as they listened to West Abbey Road, a Beatles cover band, at the Four Rivers Cultural Center on Wednesday, July 10.

The event was the third show the cultural center’s Live After 5 summer concert series. Every other week for 12 weeks, the center hosts a band and local food vendor in the Japanese garden for free.

Wednesday’s show, catered by Second & Vine Bistro and sponsored by Yturri Rose, brought over 300 people to the garden, filling all of the tables and spilling out into the lawn.

Locals can catch three more garden concerts before the summer series wraps up for the year.

The Emily Stanton Band will perform July 24, catered by Matsy’s and sponsored by Brian Halcom State Farm Insurance. B-Town Hitmen grace the stage August 7, sponsored by the Ontario School District and once again catered by Matsy’s. The final performance will be August 21 by Encore, sponsored by Dutch Bros.
