In the community

Nothing brings the community together like the annual Vale 4th of July Rodeo and Suicide Race Parade. Families and rodeo fans lined the sidewalks of A Street in downtown Vale as patriotic cars, horses, and floats rolled down the street on Monday afternoon.

There was candy and water balloons thrown in equal measure. Familiar faces such as rodeo grand marshals Dave and Bonnie Westerberg and 2022 Rodeo Queen Brogan Bair waved to the crowd as sun and spirits shined high – all before the start of the rodeo.
