ONTARIO – Hundreds of local residents gathered for the grand opening of the Ontario Splash Park at Lions Park last Thursday for an evening of festivities. Gates opened at 5 p.m. and followed with a dedication ceremony by the Ontario City Council, music, a barbecue and homemade root beer. The city of Ontario is overseeing the water park until the end of June, when the Ontario Recreation District is scheduled to take over.

The Ontario Splash Park is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
