Mine Administrative 

Assistant

EP Minerals is currently looking for a full-time Mine Administrative Assistant at the Vale, Oregon site. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Enter data and keep accurate records per DOT, MSHA and EPM requirements.

* Issue purchase orders and receive parts.

* Submit invoices and receipts to AP daily.

* Reconcile monthly statements.

* Create, update, and complete work orders.

* Maintain multiple databases and other tracking systems.

* Reconcile monthly fuel usage.

* Ensure registrations, licenses, and operating permits are kept current for all equipment.

* Communicate DOT changes and updates.

* Coordinate truck scale maintenance and repairs as needed.

* Track DOT physical renewals.

* Pick up parts as needed in company vehicle.

* Perform safety audits.

* Maintain an organized and tidy desk space and work area.

* Meet and greet customers, employees, vendors, guests professionally.

* Perform additional clerical duties as needed.

Other requirements:

* High school diploma, general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Computer skills – experience with ERP systems preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

* Familiarity with DOT regulations/website and Oregon Trucking On-Line preferred.

* Good organizational skills.

* Valid Driver’s license with qualifying DMV driving history.

* Ability to work with a high degree of independence and a sense of urgency.

* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal).

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (multi-tasking skills a must).

* Good attention to quality and detail.

* Ability to schedule, manage time efficiently and effectively and drive results.

* Self-motivated and self-directed.

* Ability to work cooperatively and professionally within a team environment and with the public.

Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

EP Minerals is currently looking for a part-time Administrative Assistant at the Vale, Oregon site. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Greet and sign in any visitors, truck drivers, and/or contractors to the plant professionally.

* Provide site specific training and PPE equipment.

* Maintain an organized and tidy desk and reception area.

* Answer the phone and direct calls to appropriate extension professionally and respectfully.

* Manage office supplies and prepare outbound shipments.

* Perform additional clerical duties such as filing, copying, faxing, scanning, & emailing as required

* Assist HR Generalist as needed.

Other requirements:

* High school diploma, general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Ability to work part-time schedule

* Good computer skills - Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred

* Good organizational skills

Production Worker

EP Minerals is currently taking applications for our Production Worker position at the Vale, Oregon site. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Working safely is priority

* Packs product into bags, bulk bags, boxes and bulk hopper rail cars

* Completes or assists with bulk car cleaning, sealing, purging and switching

* Uses manual and automatic palletizer

* Identifies bag type, pallet type, and code stickers

* Remove, replace and record broken and light weight bags

* Dump broken bags and re-feed non-conforming product

* Check and record bag weights

* Stacks or re-stacks bags or boxes on pallets as required

Other requirements:

* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (written and verbal)

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Ability to work independently.

* Ability to work a flexible work schedule.

* Good attendance history.

* Multi-Tasking skills.
