ONTARIO – Four Rivers Cultural Center will offer a concert by Empire Trio, a classical crossover ensemble, on Saturday, March 18, at 7 p.m. at the Meyer-McLean Performing Arts Theater. A crossover ensemble is a group that appeals to an array of audiences.
Tickets cost $20 for adults and $10 for students.
Tickets are available in advance at Dorsey Music in Ontario or at the cultural center gift shop. Tickets are also available at the door and on Eventbrite though the Community Concerts of Treasure Valley Facebook page.
Empire Trio – consisting of soprano Erin Shields, David Shenton on piano and violin, and baritone Adam Cannedy – formed in 2012 in New York City. The group will perform a host of Broadway hits during the concert.
Empire Trio has sold out such major venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Redlands Bowl, where the group played to a crowd of more than 7,000 people.
