LA GRANDE – The Adrian/Jordan Valley prep football machine just keeps rolling.
After a crushing 78-24 district playoff win over Pilot Rock/Nixyaawii last Friday, the Antelopes are set to host Butte Falls/Crater Lake Charter Academy (5-3) at 7 p.m. Friday in a first-round prep football playoff game.
In the win over 6-2 Pilot Rock/Nixyaawii, Adrian’s Conley Martin threw for 273 yards and six touchdowns and ran for another in a powerhouse showing at Eastern Oregon University.
Martin was joined in the scoring by a familiar core of impact players. Michael Babcock, Wade Bond and Kort Skinner ended the day with impressive performances to help Adrian/Jordan Valley claim the win.
“This was a true team effort in which every single player contributed. The offense executed in every facet, starting with the offensive line,” said Adrian/Jordan Valley coach Billy Wortman.
