Today at the Malheur County Fair and Rodeo

ONTARIO — Friday at the fair is all about celebrating our heritage. Buildings open to the public at 10 a.m. and admission is $5 for all ages.

Friday – Celebrate Our Heritage

Animal Showing

8 a.m. – Exhibitor meeting

8:30 a.m. – 4-H Ranch Horse Showmanship, Ranch Horse Trail, Junior Ranch Horse, ID & Skills

8:30 a.m. – 4-H/FFA Goat Breed Classes, Open Class (Girvin Hall)

9 a.m. – 4-H Dog Show, Open Class Dog Show (Dog Arena)

9 a.m. – 4-H/FFA Beef Showmanship (Beef Arena)

10 a.m. – All buildings open to the public

1 p.m. – FFA Small Animal Round Robin

1 p.m. – FFA Tractor Driving Contest (Practice Arena)

4 p.m. – Livestock Judging Contest (Girvin Hall)

Entertainment

1 to 3 p.m. – Veggie Critter Decorating Contest (Loafing Shed)

2 to 3 p.m. – Hands on Soil Experience

3 p.m. – FFA Tractor Driving Contest (Practice arena)

4 to 10 p.m. – Funtime Carnival

5:30 p.m. – Watermelon Spitting Contest

6 to 9 p.m. – Pansy the Clown

7 p.m. – Malheur County Fair Little Buckaroo Introduction

8 p.m. – ICA Rodeo
