Rock band, ‘Aladdin’ take stage at Ontario’s Four Rivers Cultural Center

ONTARIO – There is plenty to do, see and hear at Four Rivers Cultural Center this month.

Saturday, the cultural center will host “Boston Rocks,” a tribute band that plays the tunes of the great rock groups – such as Aerosmith, The Cars, Boston and The J. Geils Band – that call Boston home. The concert starts at 7 p.m. in the FRCC performing arts theater. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $10. Tickets can be purchased online at eventbrite.com.

• The Four Rivers Children’s Community Theatre will stage its production of Disney classic “Aladdin” at the cultural center April 25-27. The show begins each night at 7:30, with a 2 p.m. matinee on April 27.

Tickets are $5, available at eventbrite.com.

• Fruitland resident Mark Barnes will be the featured artist Thursday in the Harno Gallery from 7 to 9 p.m. Barnes has been performing with his guitar since the 1970s. He covers a wide spectrum of influences, mostly with an acoustic format. The performance is part of the cultural center’s singer-songwriter series.
