Kimi Michelle Seals

Kimi Michelle Seals, 35, of Fruitland, Idaho, passed away early Thursday morning, July 26, at home with her family, afier a 15-month battle with cancer. 

Kimi was born March 2, 1983 in Caldwell, Idaho, the daughter of Vern and Joni Ball. She was raised in Vale, Ontario, The Dalles, Boise, Idaho and Kalispell, Montana, before moving back to Vale in 1996 where she lived until graduating from high school. 

She met and married Ryan Seals in 2003 and they had five children together. She worked some part-time jobs but her main focus was being a wife and mother. 

She loved music and would play the piano and sing and also participated in many theater productions. She also loved getting together with her friends and family and her children were the light of her life. 

Kimi was a beautiful person inside and out and her relationship with Jesus Christ was the most important thing to her. 

Kimi is survived by her loving husband, Ryan; daughter, Cidney, 13; son, Caden, 11; son, Christian, 7; daughter, Chloe, 4; parents, Vern and Joni Ball of Ontario; sister, Amy Smith (Brandon) of Ontario; brother, Kerry Ball (Lauren) of Caldwell; grandparents, Jim and Marlene Macfarlane of Fruitland; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Brasen Creed, and grandparents, Wayne and Charlotte Ball. 

Our Celebration of Life service for our beautiful daughter, Kimi, will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, at 11 a.m. at Four Rivers Cultural Center with a meal following. Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 3, from 6-8 p.m. at the Ontario Lienkaemper Chapel. Condolences can be made to the family at www.lienkaemper-thomason.com.

• Margaret E. Scott, 91, of Ontario, died July 20 at a local care facility. Lienkaemper Chapel, Ontario.  

• Gary Eugene Smith, 78, of Brogan, died July 23 in Portland.
