VALE - A 63-acre wildfire 14 miles north of Vale in the Alkali Flat area is smoldering but under control, the BLM said Monday morning.
The BLM deployed one bulldozer and three engines to the lightning-sparked blaze while the Vale Rangeland Fire Protection Association also dispatched an engine.
