VALE – An offer has been extended to current Vale superintendent Scott Linenberger to take the helm at the Pleasant Hill School District.

Linenberger has led the Vale district for the past two years. According to Linenberger, he placed his name into the Pleasant Hill mix due to family concerns. His parents live in the Pleasant Hill area and are requiring ongoing medical attention along with family assistance.

Pleasant Hill is located 12 miles from Eugene and is listed with a population of 5,600 people.

A Pleasant Hill School Board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday with a vote on Linenberger’s hiring scheduled.
