PHOTO GALLERY: Winter Wonderland Parade brings festivity to Ontario streets

ONTARIO – The streets of Ontario were full of holiday spirit Saturday afternoon as the Winter Wonderland Parade wound through town.

The parade, put on by the Ontario Area Chamber of Commerce and presented by the Malheur Enterprise began on Fourth Avenue and ending at Moore Park, where Santa descended from his float to visit with children.

The forecast rain held off for good weather for the annual event.

The chamber announced parade winners for the parade, held Dec. 7, including:

Sweepstakes winner: Ozzy Canine Services

Organization 1st place: Bell Family

Organization 2nd place: Ontario Nazarene Church

Organization 3rd place: Darlene Zacarnas

Commercial 1st place: Malheur Federal Credit Union

Commercial 2nd place: Saint Alphonsus Medical Center-Ontarip

Commercial 3rd place: Walmart
