COMING UP: Dinner, bazaar, trap shoot and more in store for Malheur County

ONTARIO – Annex Charter School is hosting its annual dinner and auction this Friday at 6 p.m.

The event will be held at the school, 402 Annex Road in Ontario.

The menu for the dinner includes pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw and cowboy beans.

Tickets cost $6 per person, $25 per family of six, and children under three get in for free.

The dessert auction starts at 6:45 p.m. followed by a live and silent auction.

• BAZAAR: St. Paul Lutheran Church is holding its 3rd annual Holiday Bazaar this Saturday at 3 p.m. The event will be held at the church at 842 Alameda Drive in Ontario.

Sweet rolls and soup will be available, and there will be crafts for kids as well as various businesses, artists and holiday crafts vendors.

• TRAP SHOOT: The Malheur Gun Club is hosting a trap shoot at the Miller Memorial Airpark in Vale on Sunday, Nov. 17, starting at 11 a.m. Prizes are packages of meat. For more information, call Marsha Perry at 541-709-8382 or Monte Bixby at 541-473-3311.

• TREES: The 31st annual Festival of Trees will offer a bounty of Christmas trees, centerpieces, wreaths and greens Friday through Sunday, Nov. 22-24, at the Clarion Inn. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. the first two days and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the final day, which will feature specials.

Santa will visit Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and there will be children’s activities.
