Sophomore quarterback Landon McDowall ran for 76 yards while teammate Caleb Benson finished the night with 71 yards on the ground as the Bulldogs never trailed and were out in front 49-0 at halftime.

Nyssa (2-2, 5-3) pulled its starters at halftime.

“It was an opportunity for some of our guys to get some experience in different positions and those kids did well,” said Nyssa coach Lee Long.
