ONTARIO — Four Rivers Cultural Center is hosting a free concert this Thursday, Aug. 22, as part of its Singer-Songwriter Concert series. The center will host Steve Brown and Jill Miller, two local musicians from the Treasure Valley area.

Brown, an Idaho native, has been playing guitar and writing songs for over 30 years, using a variety of styles including campy, country and blues. Brown, who is described as “self-effacing and never too serious” in his biography, focuses on engaging audiences through stories and humor. The guitarist is currently the chief songwriter and co-lead singer of the alt-country and rock band, Raketooth. Previously, he performed as half of the acoustic folk-pop duo Border Crossing.
