Vale's Main Street hosted art, cupcakes and a dinosaur Thursday in the annual Art Beat on Main Street.

The event by Drexel H. Foundation matched up with Spring into Wellness, including a variety of vendors offering information about health care and services.

The block-long event was in front of the historic Vale Hotel.

At one end, a stage featured local singers, performing in the hot sun while the audience sat sheltered in the shade.

At the other end of the block, youngters could learn good dental care in part by brushing a dinosaur's teeth.
