NYSSA – It’s rodeo time! The Nyssa Nite Rodeo on June 14-15 is an open rodeo, and the books opened June 1.

The kick-off event will be at 6 p.m. Monday, June 10, at Apple Valley Pizza with the Rodeo Honors Banquet. Tickets are $20. The rodeo is at Oregon Trail Arena. You can also visit Nyssa Nite Rodeo on Facebook for up-to-date rodeo information.
On Saturday, don’t miss the Buckaroo Breakfast from 7-11 a.m. at Nyssa Senior Center. The breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy. The cost is $5 for ages 8 and over; $3 for those under age 8. The breakfast is a fundraiser for the community meals served at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• June 9 is the date for a fundraiser at Nyssa Church of the Nazarene in Manley Hall, on Good Avenue. There will be a taco bar and dessert auction to raise funds for the dozen youth going to camp this summer. The event starts at 12:30.
