VALE – This Sunday, senior Vikings will claim their diplomas at Vale High School.
The ceremonies begin at 3 p.m. at the school.
Leading the class are three valedictorians:
• Japheth Carlson, son of David Carlson and Kay Carlson, has been a state champion in robotics and FBLA, was active in Science Club, and participated in cross country and tennis, attaining district and state tournament honors. He also is an Eagle Scout.
He plans to attend Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and study math and physics toward a degree in applied mathematics.

• Isabel Lastiri has held offices in the Science Club, FBLA, Associated Student Body, and was president of the National Honor Society and a Chief Science Officers international delegate for Oregon.
Daughter of Frank Lastiri and Maria Lastiri, she plans to attend College of Idaho on academic scholarships and graduate early in biology. After that she intends to earn a doctor of pharmacy degree, and hopes to spend her residency with the humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders.

• Isabella Sigrah, daughter of John and Andrea Sigrah, has been involved in FFA, National Honor Society, Class Board, and played varsity softball.
She plans to attend Boise State University in the radiology program, with a major in health sciences.

• The class salutatorian is Morgan Harrison, daughter of Shad and Treva Harrison. She has been active in cheerleading, track and field, FBLA and National Honor Society.
She plans to attend College of Idaho on a track and field scholarship and study pre-medicine and health sciences.
