Choir sings into spring in Nyssa this Wednesday

The Nyssa FFA Chapter’s annual flower basket sale, held May 1, drew a record-breaking crowd of buyers, with all of the baskets sold before the end of the school day. FFA member Britain Hartley’s image was used in one of many social media notices about the sale created and posted by students to promote the sale. (Submitted photo)

• Family movie night at Nyssa Library is Thursday, starting at 5 p.m. Stop by the library to learn the title of the movie.

• The Oregon Trail Agricultural Museum is now open!

Located on Good Avenue in the Nyssa Historical District, the museum is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 1-4 p.m.

Volunteers are needed to host during open hours and to help with the displays. The museum is looking for historical information from area farmers, ranchers and others in the agricultural industry.

The Historical District is the area of South 1st and 2nd Streets along Good Avenue and includes four buildings on the historic register. The museum operators thank everyone who supports the museum with membership in the Nyssa Historical Society.
