Nyssa Library offers spring break activities

NYSSA – Yay for spring break! It is a fun time at our house as we have our two grandsons with us.

The Nyssa Library is a great place to visit this week, with several activities lined up.

The “Imagination Station” will be open where kids can be creative, and a STEM activity will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday. Stop by the library and see what is happening both during spring break and throughout the month. You can also learn about Nyssa Con, coming in April, and find out what family movie will be shown on April 18. There is a lot happening at the Nyssa Library!

• From 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Nyssa Senior Center, there will be a party for Betty Holcomb who is retiring from the Nyssa Post Office after 35 years of service. Betty’s last day at the post office will be Friday.

Congratulations on your retirement, Betty! You are a wonderful asset to our community.
