NYSSA – Attention quilters and other individuals who work in fiber arts: Friday and Saturday there will be a “Sew-In” at the Waldo Conference Center in Nyssa.
The cost is $10 per person for an opportunity to get out of the house and work on your projects.
Space is limited so contact Patricia at 541-372-5622 or Susan at 541-372-5455 to reserve your spot. Doors open at 1 p.m. on Friday to work on projects until 8 or 9 p.m. On Saturday doors open at 9 a.m. to work on projects until 5 p.m.
• Next Tuesday, Feb. 19, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nyssa FFA will host a blood drive at Nyssa High School in the gym foyer. Call the high school at 541-372-2287 to reserve a time slot.
• Movie night at the Nyssa Library will be Thursday, Feb. 21. Stop by the library to learn the title of this month’s family-friendly movie.
Also that night, the annual Nyssa Talent Night will feature the musical and artistic talents of Nyssa students.
