NYSSA – Calling all Bulldogs! An all-school reunion, to be held in July, is in the planning stages.
Those who would like to lend a hand are welcome to attend a meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday in the school board room in the Administration Building. Check the Nyssa Bulldogs Facebook page for updates and more information.
This event is just one of many in the planning stages for 2019. Any community event needs involved individuals lending a hand, giving of their talents to ensure success. Helping out with a community event is a great way to give back and get to know other community members.
The Nyssa Chamber, library and senior center are just a few places in town to contact and learn about what’s happening and how you can be involved.
A new group called Community Unity is getting started, after meetings last fall were well attended.
The Nyssa Parent Teacher Organization will hold two fundraisers in March and host a dinner for teachers during conferences, details to come. If you are a parent of a student at Nyssa Elementary, the PTO needs your input and your involvement. Contact the group by e-mail at [email protected].
