ONTARIO — May Roberts Elementary held its annual winter concert Monday evening at the Meyer McLean Performing Arts Theater at the Four Rivers Cultural Center.
Students in kindergarten through the sixth grade entertained a packed theater of parents, family members, teachers and staff with songs, musical performances and cuteness.
The evening concert began with a hand bell performance by the second grade class. Third graders came next with a holiday score played on recorders, followed by musical symphonies composed of tone chimes and bells played by the fourth and fifth grade classes.
The show continued with upbeat, cheery Christmas music sang by both the Kindergarten and first grader classes. Students went on stage with holiday-themed headbands, hats and clothes.
The sixth grade choir capped the night with modern pop songs and catchy holiday tunes.
