VALE – An evening of live honky-tonk music is coming back to Vale.

Fiddle Night, featuring Kelly Thibodeaux will take place at Wadleigh Park in Vale on Thursday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m.

Thibodeaux is a professional fiddler from Louisiana with 40 years of playing experience. For the second year, he is a musician in residence at Vale Elementary School, where he’s teaching third and fourth graders how to play the fiddle.

The students will have the opportunity to jump on the stage during Fiddle Night and show off their musical abilities. Their performance will be a culmination of what they learned over the two-week fiddle camp.

Anyone in the community is welcome to attend the free event, which is sponsored by The Foundation for the Arts in Vale, The Wood Family Trust and Bank of America.
