Giovanna Mussi

Giovanna Mussi, 82, of Brogan Oregon, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 20.
Giovanna was born on Sept. 13, 1935, in Sestri Levante, Italy, the youngest of five siblings. She met our dad in Italy while working on her family farm. They were married in Italy on August 14, 1960, and came to Fallon, Nevada.
They purchased their Ironside, Oregon ranch in 1961, where they raised four children. They ranched until they sold in 2007 and moved to Brogan, where mom continued to cook wonderful meals, grow beautiful flowers and garden up until her death.
She is survived by two sons; Wade (Colette) and John, two daughters; Kathy (Jerry) and Dian (Stan); and three grandchildren, Benjamin and Matthew Mussi and Megan Griffin.
She was preceded in death by her husband Primo in 2013.
By her wishes there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Brogan Community Society, 5621 Clark Street, Brogan, Oregon 97903.
