VALE – Once the board of Malheur Federal Credit Union makes a decision, things move.
After the board decided to remodel its operation inside Logans Market in Vale, construction crews moved in and in a span of four days, staff were back at their desks with a window to lighten the once dark space, a new counter, new carpet and fresh paint on the walls.
“It really happened fast,” said Sandy Tolman, an employee enjoying her new surroundings. “We completed the remodel to better serve our customers in a professional atmosphere. We love our new area and especially love the window.”
The credit union is celebrating the new office with a celebration next Tuesday starting at 9 a.m. Along with refreshments all day, a drawing will be held at 5:30 p.m. for a flat screen television. The winner will need to be present.
