Your news update from the Enterprise

Well, time to shift into holiday mode in a big way.

First, all of us at the Enterprise wish you and your family a relaxed and pleasant holiday, no matter what you do for Thanksgiving.

And if you don’t want to cook and want some company, Ontario and Vale both have free community dinners on Thanksgiving Day. Our story below has the details for you.

And if you’re ready for more shopping, the Boulevard Grange out by Cairo Junction and the Malheur County Fairgrounds both have holiday bazaars, running Friday and Saturday. This is a great way to meet local crafters, grab a few holiday treats for yourself and even get some face time with Santa.

Before you get too relaxed, here’s some of the work done in recent days by your local team at the Enterprise.

Weekly feature: Cats need a home

Hardison and Elliot are bonded brothers. They are very handsome tuxedos, dressed for success and ready for anything!! They came to us as very shy kitties after they were abandoned…. but are now loving, sweet and very playful kitties ready to start their happily ever after. When we clean their cages, they climb right up on our chests for kisses and snuggles. They are seeking a loving forever family together.

They are neutered, UTD on vaccinations and tested negative for FeLV & FIV. They are indoor only for their safety. No declawing.

SATURDAY ADOPTION EVENT: Every Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Constance McCullough House, 84 N.W. 2nd St. in Ontario.

–Information provided by the Ontario Feral Cat Project.
