Headlines from Malheur County’s leading newspaper

Good morning……

Today’s a big day for a lot of Malheur County students. The annual spelling bee gets underway this morning in Nyssa, which a champion speller to emerge after several rounds of competition.

Students work for months to prepare for this. The Enterprise will be there to chronicle the event.

We also continue to work hard to trace impacts of federal decisions here in Malheur County. The reordering of the federal government is going to cost jobs and federal funding but President Trump is remaining steady, ensuring the country that better days are ahead for everyone. He has said the country may face economic challenges as his changes take hold.

Meantime, here’s recent reporting for your local news team at the Enterprise.
