The latest from the Malheur Enterprise

Good morning……

We’re deep into the holiday season but the news continues to flow.

The biggest story in recent days is that there may be new life in the Treasure Valley Reload Center. A Missouri company is in serious talks to buy the unfinished public works project – and take over Malheur County’s industrial park that has never gotten traction.

And with the new year coming, plan on heading to Vale for the annual New Year’s Eve fireworks show, fired off from Rinehart Buttes.

We’re at work on some in-depth reports that we’ll publish early in the new year as the Enterprise continues its tradition of watchdog journalism.
