Nyssa to lose over $350,000 in migrant funding over improper enrollments
The state will pull over $350,000 in federal funding from the Nyssa School District’s migrant education program. The loss in funding comes after state officials identified 129 families with 277 children improperly enrolled for the past three years in a program designed to give migrant families extra help to educate their children.

Fire destroys maintenance building at Harper Charter School
The final days of school at Harper Charter School were canceled after a fire on Saturday, May 20. The fire struck the school’s maintenance building.
