OSP detective from Ontario receives award for her lifesaving actions in 2022
Det. Ashley Morcom, then a patrol trooper with the Oregon State Police, saved the life of 5-year-old Rowan Umphrey, Weiser, last spring. For her efforts, Morcom received the Roy Hicks Memorial Award for law enforcement officer of the year from the Ontario Elks Club in January.
