UPDATE: Corbett, ranked third in the state in 1A girls basketball, beat Coquille 65-14 on Monday, Feb. 27. Corbett and Nyssa meet in quarterfinal action at 6:30 p.m. Pacific on Thursday, March 2, at North Bend High School.
The Lady Bulldogs started their basketball season on Dec. 1 with a 61-29 win over Payette.
Now, they roll into March and a slot in the state 1A quarterfinals.
Nyssa advanced on Saturday, Feb. 25, by beating Westside Christian 65-48 in a home game.
They travel 500 miles to North Bend for a playoff game scheduled for Wednesday, March 2. Nyssa will play the winner of the Coquille-Corbett game scheduled for Monday, Feb. 27.
