ONTARIO – Ken Hart, an Ontario city councilor, has been named chief executive officer of Valley Family Health Care.
Hart, the former president of Saint Alphonsus Medical Center-Ontario, replaces former CEO Tim Heinze.
Hart left the Ontario hospital in 2020 to become the chief financial officer for Valley Family Health, which is based in Payette. Hart served in a variety of capacities at Saint Alphonsus for 15 years and worked as president and CEO at the facility from 2017.
Hart is also a member of the board of Malheur County Poverty to Prosperity and was appointed to fill an open position on the Ontario City Council in October 2020. Hart also serves on the Treasure Valley Community College Board.
He was elected to the Ontario City Council in November 2022.
Cheri Hung will replace Hart as the Valley Family Health chief financial officer. Hung has served as the controller of Valley Family Health since 2021.
Valley Family Health opened its first medical clinic in Payette in 1982 and now has eight medical and dental clinics across the Treasure Valley.
Valley Family Health is building a new medical clinic in Ontario at the corner of Fortner Street and 8th Avenue.
