Ontario boys soccer win way to state title game

The Ontario boys soccer team beat North Marion 1-0 in a semifinal state playoff match on Tuesday, Nov. 8, at Alameda Field.

The win puts the Tigers into the state championship game, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 12, at Liberty HIgh School in Hillsboro. Ontario faces the winner of the other semifinal match being played Tuesday, with Phoenix playing Henley in an evening match.

The fifth-ranked Tigers take a 6-0 league record and a 12-1 overall record into the title game.
