VALE – There will be plenty of fun, music and food at the Fall Beer Fest Saturday, Oct. 8.
The free event begins at 6 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. at the Hot Springs Trading Post, east of the Malheur River just outside of Vale.
“To have something like that in Vale is fun,” said Kate Humphrey, event organizer.
The beer will be provided by Mal’s Diner.
There will also be brisket sandwiches, coleslaw, cookies and soda available, and live music at the Beef Fest, said Humphreys.
The event follows the annual Harvest Bazaar, which kicks off at 10 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. at the trading post.
The harvest bazaar will showcase vendors selling an array of different items, including handmade goods and jewelry.
A baby grand piano will also provide entertainment throughout the Harvest Bazaar.
