Here’s what it costs to feed your family this Thanksgiving

ONTARIO – Thanksgiving is here and with it are all the usual truisms that mark one of the nation’s most popular holidays.

Turkey, sweet potatoes and green beans are just three of the staples that grace the Thanksgiving table but there is also another fact that many may not realize: Many people don’t shop for dinner until the holiday is almost upon them.

That’s the opinion of Dale Gonzalez. Gonzalez isn’t a stranger to the Thanksgiving holiday shopping rush. He owns Grocery Outlet in Ontario and said his busiest days occur the two days before Thanksgiving.

“Everyone waits until the last minute,” said Gonzalez.
