Championship game! Adrian/Jordan Valley win, advance to state title game

HERMISTON – The Adrian/Jordan Valley 1A football team will play for the state title on Saturday, Nov. 30, after defeating Crane 74-18.

The Antelopes were in command the entire game, leading 38-6 at the halftime. Running back Mike Babcock, a senior, scored five touchdowns for the Lopes and quarterback Conley Martin, a sophomore, threw three touchdown passes and ran for two more.

They now face St. Paul, a team with a 12-0 record that beat Camas Valley on Saturday 46-26.

Adrian has run up big scores on its way to the title game, beating Butte Falls/Crater Lake 70-0 in the first playoff game and Hosanna Christian of Klamath Falls 64-16.

The Antelopes won the state football title in 2014, beating Sherman.
