Baker/Powder Valley soccer teams overpower Nyssa

BAKER CITY – The Baker/Powder Valley boys soccer team squeaked out a 4-3 non-league victory over Nyssa (2-0, 2-4) at Baker City Tuesday night.

On the girls side of play, Baker/Powder Valley defeated the Bulldogs (1-0, 1-5) 5-1 in a non-league game.

The Nyssa boys and girls soccer teams will journey to Irrigon Saturday for league matches.

The Bulldog girls will play at 2 p.m. (PST) while the boys match starts at 5 p.m. (PST).
