Nyssa High school is celebrating homecoming week. (The Enterprise/Yadira Lopez)
It’s homecoming week at Nyssa High School! The parade was held this Wednesday, with the homecoming game on Friday.
Come on out and cheer, cheer for Nyssa!
• Just in time for homecoming, the Nyssa PTO was out painting Bulldog paws and Ns all around town. This is a great fundraiser for the PTO. Thanks to everyone – businesses and individuals –who supported the PTO.
Mark your calendar for the next PTO event , the annual carnival, to be held Oct. 4.
• The annual Case Lot Sale, going on now at M&W Markets in Nyssa, is a great time to stock up for the Nyssa Community Food Pantry. Top Ramen, canned vegetables and fruits, baking items and soups are basics the pantry needs.
If you would prefer to financially support the pantry, make your check payable to Thunderegg Community Services. If your garden is overproducing fresh fruits and vegetables, you can share your excess, too.
The pantry is open Mondays from 4-7 p.m. and Thursdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the corner of South 5th and Main.
