NYSSA – Nyssa rocks, particularly this week as Thunderegg Days rolls into town.
Nyssa Elementary School is where most of the action takes place, with rock, craft and food vendors. The quilt show is inside Mac Hall, a great opportunity to view beautiful quilts and cool off as the traditional Thunderegg warm spell will keep things hot. The Thunderegg Days opening ceremony will be Thursday at noon; a great opportunity to check out the food vendors for lunch.
There will be a variety of music each day, plus extra events like the Outlaw Lawn Mower Dragsters on Thursday with an ice cream social at 7 p.m. and movie at sundown on Friday.
