VALE – Cornchip the Corgi smoked the competition Saturday morning at Wadleigh Park, winning the 6th annual Vale Dog Show.

Kristine Cox, Cornchip's owner, said that the corgi first competed in the Vale Dog Show three years ago, winning the cutest dog award.

Last year, Cornchip won the award for best rollover, Cox said.

Decked out in leis, Pistol Pete was one of the smaller dogs that participated in the competition, but his owner Logan Keller said that despite his size, he is the "littlest dog with the biggest attitude."

Aside from a few growls and the occasional scuffle, the Vale Dog Show went relatively smoothly. The event was hosted . . .
