Community BBQ kicks off Vale 4th of July Rodeo week

VALE – Vale’s Fourth of July festivities kicked off Monday afternoon with the annual Grand Marshal Banquet at Wadleigh Park.

Locals feasted on hamburgers, hotdogs and chorizo as they celebrated the rodeo week and this year’s Grand Marshals, Rick and Sheryl Johnson.

The Johnsons are longtime Vale residents well-known in the community for their service and deep roots in the area’s cattle industry.
