Ontario temporarily closes splash pad

ONTARIO — The city of Ontario has extended the closure of the popular splash pad at Lions Park until at least Friday.

The system that helps maintain a balanced water chemistry has malfunctioned, according to a city press release Wednesday morning.

The city is working with a pool contractor to replace parts and plans to finish repairs by Friday, June 14.
