ADRIAN – Thirteen Antelope seniors will be in the spotlight this Sunday, as they graduate from Adrian High School.
The ceremony starts at 6 p.m. in the school district gymnasium.
The class is led by valedictorians Sadey Speelmon and Roby Young.
Speelmon has been involved in FFA and Associated Student Body, and was a three-sport athlete, participating in volleyball, basketball and track.
Daughter of Jacob and Penny Speelmon, she plans to enroll at Oregon Institute of Technology and pursue a degree in radiology.
Young, daughter of Robert and Cassie Young, has been involved in FFA, drama, FCA, and also in three sports: track, basketball and volleyball.
She plans to attend College of Idaho and then go on to medical school and become a physician assistant.
The class salutatorian is Saira Amaral, daughter of Gerardo Amaral and Alma Ramirez. She has been active in FFA, leadership, International Club, and basketball and softball.
She plans to earn an associate degree at Treasure Valley Community College and then transfer to Eastern Oregon University or Oregon State University. She would like to become a teacher of Spanish or agriculture, but also is interested in veterinary medicine.
