Harper graduates Class of 2019 this Sunday

HARPER – A dozen graduates will claim their diplomas this Sunday in ceremonies at Harper Charter School.

The ceremony starts at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Leading the Class of 2019 will be valedictorian Alexis Wilson, daughter of Laura and Michael Wilson. 

She has been in National Honor Society, the yearbook and travel clubs, and participated in volleyball and basketball.

She plans to attend Milan Institute and obtain a massage therapy license and then go to Treasure Valley Community College in Ontario to earn a degree in business. 

After that, she plans to open her own practice in massage therapy.

Chosen salutatorian is Sierra Manees, daughter of Heather Manees and John Manees.

Her activities at school have included automotive and FFA. 

She plans to attend Treasure Valley Community College for two years, taking pre-veterinary courses, and then join the military before finishing her education in veterinary school at Oregon State University.
