Jordan Valley seniors walk the graduation stage this weekend

JORDAN VALLEY – Jordan Valley High School will welcome 10 seniors into alumni status this weekend in the first commencement ceremony of the season for schools across the county.

Graduation rites for the Class of 2019 begin at 4 p.m. Saturday at the high school.

The class is led by two valedictorians: Emilee Suzanne Burch, daughter of Sean and Andrea Burch, and Taylor Warn, daughter of John and Tricia Warn.

Burch has been involved in volleyball, basketball and high school rodeo. She plans to attend the College of Idaho in the fall and major in marketing and digital media.

Warn’s activities include basketball, volleyball and student council. She plans to major in business at Eastern Oregon University.

Named salutatorian is Ezekiel Quintero, son of Mike and Sheila Quintero.

He enjoys football, basketball, track and field, and plans to attend College of Idaho and to major in marketing and digital media and minor in engineering and psychology.
