Ontario track invitational draws a plethroa of teams

ONTARIO – Fifteen teams across the region gathered at Ontario High School Saturday to compete in the annual Saint Alphonsus Invitational.

In the boys’ competition, Fruitland came in first, followed by Baker and Adrian. In the girls’ meet, Baker placed first, Ontario second and Tri-Valley third.


The Adrian boys and girls track teams turned in several strong performances on Saturday, despite competing the day before at the Don Walker Invitational in Nyssa.

On the boys side, Wade Bond finished first in the 300-meter hurdles in 44.77 and Gavin Bayes came in second in 45.36. Bond also placed second in the 200 and fourth in the . . .
