Vale High School students take FBLA state honors

PORTLAND – Two Vale High School students placed in the top four at the Future Business Leaders of America State Business Leadership Conference held recently in Portland.

Japheth Carlson was named a state champion in business calculations. Sydney Bolyard took fourth in the computer applications contest. 

Both Carlson and Bolyard qualified to compete at the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas, in June.

Shelsea Marshall – 5th, Computer Applications.

Kim Ramos – 10th, Word Processing.

Jorge Mendieta – 5th, Word Processing.

Mauricio Marquez – 7th, Word Processing.

ZuDiia Hill, Hailie Kamenicky and Sydney Bolyard – 9th, Entrepreneurship.

Cristal Reza – 10th, Help Desk.

Deyra Castro – 9th, Help Desk.

Isabel Lastiri – 7th, Impromptu Speaking.

Morgan Harrison – 6th, Job Interview.

Whitney Milleson – 5th, Job Interview.

Mauricio Marquez and Jared Hally – 9th, Management Decision Making Team.

Jennifer Paz, Kim Ramos and Shelsea Marshall – 8th, Management Decision Making Team.
