Fly fishermen and volunteers pitch in to clean up the Owyhee River

ADRIAN – The Indianhead Fly Fishers of Weiser held its 14th annual Owyhee River cleanup event Saturday, April 13. About 50 volunteers participated, including helpers from fly fishing clubs and Bureau of Land Management Vale District. The volunteers picked up trash along a 13-mile stretch of roadway and the Owyhee riverbank below the Owyhee Dam.
